Nicaraguan-born classical guitarist Isaac Bustos received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas and is now Director of Guitar Studies at Texas A&M University. He has performed as soloist and with orchestras throughout the Americas and Europe.
Isaac has won top prizes in many international competitions and has been invited to perform at the Guitar Foundation of America.
Isaac's debut CD, Caprichos y Sonatas, was released in 2008. An advocate of new music, he performs works by many contemporary composers, including a sonata he commissioned by renowned American composer, Peter Lieuwen. www.bustosguitarist.com
