South Bay Guitar Society welcomes back Swedish guitarist and composer, Johannes Möller, -- this time on a 50 concert tour of the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and China, the tour part of his award package for taking 2010 first place at the Guitar Foundation of America prestigious international competition.

Johannes completed his undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music in London where he studied with Carlos Bonell. He has earned two Masters Degrees, from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague where he studied with Zoran Dukic and the Conservatoire in Amsterdam where he studied with Lex Eisenhardt.

As a composer, Johannes’ works are noted for their personal style, influenced by contemporary Western, Eastern, and minimalist music. Since winning the GFA, Johannes has issued 2 CD’s which include some of his own compositions. He is also working on a commission for the guitar ensemble project Guitar Circus and writing a piece for the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. www.johannesmoller.com
