Kevin Loh, Guitar Virtuoso in Concert
with a Prelude performance by Micah Montgomery
Hailing from Singapore, Kevin Loh is one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation, captivating audiences worldwide. Kevin’s international acclaim has garnered him multiple invitations from renowned orchestras and international guitar festivals in London, Hong Kong, and Calcutta, among others. He has also performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including London’s Wigmore Hall, the Berlin Konzerthaus, and Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.
Kevin has won numerous accolades including 2nd prize at the 2023 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, one of the most prestigious guitar competitions in the world. He is passionate about giving back to society through music education as well as fundraising for various charities in Singapore and across the region.
A former student at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the University of Cambridge in England, Kevin is now pursuing his postgraduate degree in classical guitar at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Prof. René Izquierdo.

Prelude performer Micah Montgomery
Micah Montgomery, 15, is the second-place winner in the 2024 James Stroud Classical Guitar Competition and last year performed in the Guitar Foundation of America’s 50th Anniversary Orchestra with Sergio Assad and Ben Verdery. A student of the guitar since age five, Micah has opened for Paul Galbraith, performed in masterclasses for Sharon Isbin, Meng Su, Marco Tamayo, and Jason Vieaux and received instruction from René Izquierdo and Thomas Flippin. Micah is a student of Robert Miller at the California Conservatory of Music. Outside the guitar, Micah is a high-school freshman and enjoys basketball, volleyball, and video games.
